Graphic Novel Review: Beyond Anthology

Another kickstarter anthology is up for today’s review, this one by many amazing artist and each story about queer representation, in its own way of course.

Beyond was a project started by Sfe` R. Monster under the premise of “What if there were comics for trans kids, or gay kids, or just queer kids in general” and after some supportive words from tons of people they decided to put the project together themselves. After a long stretch of time, and tons of hype, the kickstarter was finally launched and people backed it in droves, including me.

There are tons of amazing stories in this anthology, all are great, some better than others, but they all give their own stories and characters. My personal favorite is the story of a dragon slayer. It’s such a touching story, with a fantastic twist.

Each artists style captures their own way of viewing the world, and each story capture their own as well. It was truly touching to read all these amazing tales, some were happy, some were sad, and I adored every moment.

If you ever come across a chance to purchase this book, do it, you will not regret it even for a moment.

And, as always, I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
